Industrial Fiber Optics is proud to continue producing the outstanding ML 800 series of lasers that was originally designed and manufactured by Metrologic. Designed with a sturdy metal enclosure and along the lines of classic laser design with integrated power supply, this laser is an excellent choice for an industrial or educational application.

The ML 800 is the lowest powered laser in the line. It is a very economical laser suitable for most basic optical experiments and demonstrations.

  • Hard-seal laser tubes for long life
  • Shock-resistant mountings
  • Durable extruded aluminum housing that protects the laser tube and power supply components
  • Solid-state integrated power supply mounted on durable printed circuit board
  • Standard 1/4-inch threaded hole for tripod or optical bench mounting
  • Mechanical slide shutter over front aperture to block laser beam without having to turn off the power supply (as required by CDRH)
  • Rear end cap with power switch indicator lamps, fuse holder and line cord with 3-prong grounded plug
  • Full-length rubber strips on the underside to prevent scratching and slipping on polished surfaces
  • Labels and safety features to meet all U.S. CDRH regulations
